On her 8th Convocation ceremony, on the 2nd of november Bowen University convocates 1,013 students at the university worship centre. Amongst the graduands there were 1,006 first degree holders, 6 with masters degrees in science and a PhD holder. In total, there were 30 students with first class degrees. One student each from the departments of physics and solar, chemistry and Industrial chemistry, mathematics and statistics, sociology, banking and finance and faculty of agriculture. Also 9 students from the accounting department, 10 students from economics departments and the other 4 from communication and information technology department.
